JT joined the VEO family in 2023 after serving in a successful 23-year career as an officer and combat Veteran in the U.S. Army. He specifically excelled in leading teams and large complex operations globally, most notably while assigned to the 25th Infantry Division, the 101st Airborne Division, and the 10th Mountain Division. He accomplished this by serving in multiple organizational leadership roles ranging in positions from commander, project manager, chief logistics officer, chief operations officer, chief of staff, senior executive assistant, and, most recently, as Chief Instructor/evaluator at his last duty assignment at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Throughout his career JT has received awards, including the Bronze Star and multiple Meritorious Service medals, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Parachute Rigger Badge, the Combat Action Badge for engaging enemy forces in direct fire, and inductions into the Military Honorable Orders of Saint Martin and a Knight of the Honorable Order of Saint Michael.

An accomplished NCAA D1 track and field athlete, JT graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2003 and has obtained a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma (2014).

However, JT's most important role, and the title he is most proud of, is "Dad" to his two remarkable adult children, Jaiden (a senior in college) and Jalaina (a freshman in college).
