Employment Opportunities for Veterans

Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) was founded in 2008 to address
the lack of servicesavailable to homeless veterans in Atlanta. Over the years we have
served more than 5,000 veterans through transitional and permanent supportive housing,
workforce initiatives, and mental health and addiction interventions driven by
a mission to restore veterans in crisis.

In an effort to improve the way we empower veterans (men, women, and families)
to achieve desired housing, health and employment outcomes, VEO is investing
in the organization by engaging in a search for the following impactful roles:

Chief Development Officer

Client Intake Specialist

Campus Support Specialist

Facilities and Housing Manager

In addition, VEO has been awarded funding from the Department of Labor
to support VEO’s VeteranWorks Workforce and Income initiative. The goal of
VeteranWorks is to prepare homeless veterans for re-entry to the workforce in
living-wage jobs, while also providing financial counseling and access to
supplemental income supports. For this initiative we are recruiting for the
following VeteranWorks roles:

VeteranWorks Employment Specialist

VeteranWorks Case Manager

VeteranWorks Outreach Coordinator

Although we do not exclusively hire veterans, we certainly encourage
veterans to apply for open positions at VEO. If you have an interest in one or
more of these roles, please click the link below for more details...
