Communications & Marketing Internship

Summary of Position: The Marketing Intern will assist the Director of Development and Communications in coordinating and implementing multiple projects including: media relations, collateral material relating to program operations, monitoring web analytics, developing strategic marketing plans and media buying options, track and assess value of PR, assist with direct mail and fundraising outreach for Friends of The Foundation, event planning and coordination, compile social media posting options, and completion of various administrative tasks.

Social Enterprise Internship

Summary of Position: This internship will be an opportunity to gain experience in different fields of business and business administration, ideal for a recent graduate with an interest in business for social good or a student looking to incorporate some hands-on experience with their studies.

You will be working on various functions of the social enterprise including research, marketing, sales and administration, with a real opportunity to achieve tangible outcomes during your time with us.

We greatly value our interns here at VEO. Although internships are unpaid (unless you are a veteran) there will be opportunities to work over school breaks if necessary, or to be hired on staff at the conclusion of your internship.

One of the greatest advantages our interns gain lies in the professional connections they make throughout their time here with accomplished professionals in their field. Our interns will be introduced to partner agencies and will work closely with them during their time with us.

We Tailor Your Internship Around You
VEO understands the rigorous schedule that students undertake. Interns will have flexible hours that allow them to put their necessary course work first. There are opportunities to work from home, their college campus, or on site at VEO.

VEO ensures that each intern will have a dedicated supervisor throughout their internship in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and interns can stay focused on our criteria for success. Supervisors will be available to meet with students as well as any college representative.
