HOUSING
VEO is committed to helping veterans in Georgia obtain stable housing. Every veteran deserves stability and a place to lay their head. Our housing programs offer both temporary and permanent solutions to uplift low-income and homeless veterans.

1
EMERGENCY HOUSING
Through emergency beds, Veterans Empowerment Organization provides low-barrier access to ensure that veterans have a safe place to stay while procuring permanent housing placement.
2
UNSHELTERED TO HOUSED
Veteran Empowerment Organization provides veterans with transitional housing as a way to garner permanent housing or independent living. Our residential site offers housing in a supportive, therapeutic community, with wraparound care including workforce development, mental health, optimal wellness, and case management services to help veterans address their specific challenges and needs.
3
PERMANENT HOUSING
Veterans are able to take advantage of permanent housing on our campus. VEO is moving towards expanding our affordable housing model to the city and the counties we serve. Our goal is to allow veterans to become economically self-sufficient through our approach. This allows our veterans to pursue living in communities in and around Atlanta. Veterans’ support and amenities may include rental assistance, sobriety support, individual and group counseling, peer support, and job assistance.

ROLLINS VETERANS CENTER
With gratitude to our partners, we completed the construction of Rollins Hall in 2021, the first-ever new building on our campus.
VEO uses the Housing First Model to ensure a holistic approach that is veteran centered. While staying in emergency housing, veterans are provided a bridge to transformation. Our heroes are assessed and connected to services for behavior and mental health, legal fees, benefits, job readiness, and so much more.
